Höfner Ignition Beatles Bass VSB Vintage Sunburst

Good instrument, good sound

I bought this bass to find the right sound for the covers of Beatles, and in
general, the 60ies. First of all I had to change the strings. I bought the
expensive original Hofner flat, and the sound changed immediatley as I needed.
Full, heavy, thin accordin to the set of the switches, but a very good sound.
Typical of Hofner, the sound is a bass acoustic alike. Very good price, a good
value. If you buy it, buy also the case, you need it to preserve this jewel
