Quartventilposaune der Mittelklasse-Serie. Die YSL-448 GE verfügt über einen schönen vollen Klang, leichte Spielbarkeit und eine ausgewogene Ansprache. Bohrung und Bechergröße entsprechen den professionellen Modellen, und sie besitzt handgefertigte Komponenten. Sie lässt sich bequem spielen, spricht schnell an, hat eine wunderbar gleichmäßige Zugführung und eine sehr exakte Intonation. Das Instrument hat eine große Bohrung und ist mit dem original Yamaha-Quartventil ausgestattet, das sich durch ein überraschend offenes Free-Blowing-Verhalten und einen bemerkenswert ruhigen Ventilgang auszeichnet.
