I got this bass for small gigs and because I wanted to have something that can
be played unplugged.
I am very satisfied. When played with a heavy pick, bronze strings and with a
somewhat high action, it makes a decent acoustic instrument and it has enough
volume to be heard clearly with a small group of other instruments.
It wont shake the ground but that wouldnt be a realistic expectation for a so
small instrument (though for a guitar its pretty big and it took me a couple of
days to get used to holding it properly without it slipping away).
When plugged in, it can of course play with any number of instruments and the
sound is good. The on-board eq is quite useful and the "phase" button actually
helps quite a bit with feedback. Still on a big gig with lots of monitors
speakers and mics Id prefer one of my electrics, to avoid dealing with feedback.
This would apply to just about any acoustic bass guitar, though.
The setup was a bit low for unplugged use when I got it, but that was easily
fixed, with the included allen key.
Also the endpin on mine is screwed in with a slight angle to the body but
thats not really a problem, since it steady and the fault isnt visible unless
closely examined.
Finally, the springs in the battery compartment where vibrating a bit on some
notes, so I placed a bit of foam on the battery cap to keep things tighter and
the sound was gone.
Other than that, the fretboard is fine and the construction is solid. And its
a pretty instrument, too.
So, to sum it up, if you want an acoustic bass guitar, this is a great choice.
It is cheap, it can produce sufficient volume unplugged and it is good when
plugged in, too. And it is cheap.

Muy buen instrumento en relacion con su precio
Evaluación de ZaM elEs mi primer bajo acustico y debo decir que me ha sorprendido gratamente la
calidad del acabado y el sonido teniendo en cuenta su precio se encuentra muy
por debajo de las gamas mas bajas de marcas conocidas como Fender o Ibanez.
Tiene un volumen muy aceptable al tocar sin amplificar teniendo en cuenta que
los bajos acusticos no se caracterizan por esta cualidad.
Estoy muy conforme con la compra.
