Mit der PRS SE Custom 24 Floyd Roasted Maple Limited Tobacco Sunburst präsentiert Paul Reed Smith das erste SE-Modell mit einem Hals aus Roasted Maple, der durch das aufwändige Thermoverfahren nicht nur unempfindlich gegen Klimaschwankungen ist, sondern auch Klangverhalten und Spielgefühl positiv unterstützt. Darüber hinaus besitzt die PRS SE Custom 24 Roasted einen Mahagonikorpus mit Ahorndecke, die ein schickes Furnier aus Wölkchenahorn ziert. Zwei PRS 85/15 "S" Humbucker sorgen am Gitarrenverstärker für ein harmonisch ausgewogenes Klangbild mit moderner Transparenz, das die Grundlage für nahezu jede Musikrichtung zwischen Blues, Pop, Rock und Metal bietet. Ein Push/Pull-Schalter im Tone-Poti splittet die Humbucker auf Wunsch, sodass auch erstklassige Single-Coil-Sounds im Repertoire der Gitarre stehen. Nicht zuletzt verfügt die PRS SE Custom 24 Floyd Roasted Limited Edition über ein Floyd Rose Double-Locking Tremolo für hemmungslose Lead-Artistik.
