Especially for beginners and more experienced players, the Epiphone Les Paul SL offers the ideal basis for first rock sounds. A Poplar body in classic LP design and a bolt-on maple neck with a slim 1960 Slim Taper 'D' profile provide the right feeling even after long hours of playing. Two single-coil pickups with ceramic magnets offer versatile sounds thanks to the 3-way pickup selector switch. From clear clean sounds to distorted rock sounds, they are sure to provide fun for everyone.
A portable MityPRO mini amplifier is available as part of the EPIPHONE Les Paul SL Starter Pack Ebony for proper sound reproduction. The easy-to-use amp is specifically designed to amplify electric guitars and can also be used as an MP3 speaker or for backing tracks thanks to its aux input, while the headphone jack mutes the internal speaker when headphones are connected and also allows for silent practicing. Last but not least, the MityPRO's compact size and optional battery operation means that it can be quickly stowed away for use on the go!
In addition to an amplifier and electric guitar, Epiphone gives the Starter Pack everything you need to get started right away! Accordingly, the set includes a classic instrument cable to connect the electric guitar and the amplifier and a guitar strap, which makes it easy to play standing up. Additionally, the set contains three picks and a water-repellent gig bag, so that transporting the electric guitar to rehearsals or lessons is no problem.

The mini amplifier seems to have some issues, it buzzes out when the jack is connected and seems to capture radio frequencies.
Pickups seem to have high action, correctable, neck is not bowing even if the scale/fingerboard is in need of caring with lemon oil.
Other than that, good product.
Bought this for my stepson, 'cause he wanted to follow in family footsteps as garage musician.
This is a nice entry kit, including every basic tools that you need to start learning to play guitar.
Great and sturdy build, beautiful finish and it sounds pretty good for a 100£ guitar.
The mini amp is good for practicing at home without disturbing people around.
The only downside of this kit is that mini amp does only include a battery and no power adapter.
Great guitar for a beginner. Bought this for my daughter who is currently learning to play. Lightweight and sounds great. We did purchase a bigger amp than the one it came with but that was a personal choice, the one supplied is more than adequate.
