As an absolute eye-catcher, the mahogany body of the PRS Wood Library Custom 24 10-Top Orange Fade Smokeburst has a high-quality maple top in famous 10-Top quality, whose intense grain leaves nothing to be desired. Here the noble Orange Fade Smokeburst Custom Color finish with chic fade gradient skillfully emphasizes the three-dimensional depth of the maple flame. The neck and fingerboard are also made of maple and come from Paul's legendary Wood Library. The result is a truly unique neck that reveals a contrasting bolt-on from headstock to neck heel.
The two PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers used in the neck and bridge position are specially calibrated pickups in the 'low turns' version, which guarantee an extremely organic sound development with a lower number of windings on both coils. The extended dynamic range of the two dual coils invites expressive sounds and puts the control over response and volume completely in the hands of the player. Both pickups are adjusted to their respective positions and are switched via a five-position selector switch in order to elicit the greatest possible number of potential sounds from the two 85/15 LT humbuckers.
