In collaboration with Gibson, Epiphone presents a faithful reissue of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard electric guitar, capturing the authentic features and iconic charm of the late 1950s. Compared to the later 60s models, the 1959 Les Paul Standard offers all the qualities that vintage enthusiasts prize. The mahogany body is topped with a maple cap featuring a striking AAA-quality curly maple veneer, highlighted beautifully by the Royal Teaburst finish. The mahogany neck features the 1959 Rounded "C" medium profile, while the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with classic mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays completes the timeless vintage look. At its core, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue houses two original Gibson Custombucker pickups in the neck and bridge positions, delivering the authentic Les Paul tone with pronounced mids and a rich low-end. Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Historic aluminum tailpiece and Epiphone Deluxe tuners with white keystone buttons. The guitar comes with a matching hardshell case for safe and stylish transport.
