Construction and woods
To enrich the sound with warm midrange and treble frequencies, the manufacturer uses a cedar top and a Santos rosewood body for the fully solid 4/4 construction. The combination of flat, asymmetrical 5-way bracing and the thin matte finish ensures a fast, full-bodied response. A robust cedar neck with a grenadilla fingerboard provides optimal access to all 20 frets. Additionally, the comfortable D-1 neck profile allows even complex fingering patterns to be executed with ease.
The headstock is equipped with gold Rubner tuners
Hardware and design
The Hanika mid-range comes equipped with premium hardware. The Hanika 56 SC features gold Rubner R2 tuners, ensuring precise tuning of the six nylon strings with smooth, reliable transmission. The 52 mm nut and bone bridge inlay are finely crafted, providing clean intonation across the 650 mm scale length. High-quality rosewood bindings neatly separate the individual body components and harmonize with the selected tonewoods. The overall design is complemented by a Z2 Makassar soundhole rosette, elegantly linking the rosewood bridge and fingerboard.
