The Mayones 7-string guitar at a glance

The Regius Core RSi 7-String 3A QM from Mayones is a true metal axe from the Polish handmade forge, which is not only visually impressive but also has an equally brute sound. The Regius Core RSi guitar is the perfect companion for the stage and Studio, especially for guitarists who play hard. This Custom Shop model comes with a body made of swamp ash, a top made of curly maple and an 11-ply maple/maple/ wenge neck, which sits firmly on the body thanks to a neck-thru-body neck construction. The ebony fingerboard comes with 24 extra-jumbo frets and a fingerboard radius of 16". In addition, the double-action truss rods provide uncompromising stability, even when subjected to high loads during transportation or in heated stage situations. The black Hardware of the Regius Core RSi 7-String consists of a Hipshot 7-String Fixed Guitar Bridge and Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners, which not only match the Lava Burst finish visually but also reliably ensure robust intonation, especially for low tunings. Designed for fast guitar playing, this 7-string guitar offers plenty of comfort for hard riffs and fancy leads through to deep drops.

Bare knuckle pickups and coil split

The sound of the Regius Core RSi 7-String is characterized by a massively high output. The VH-II humbucker in the neck position is responsible for this brute force, while a nailbomb humbucker in the bridge position provides an uncompromising sound that is particularly effective in the high-gain range. Another highlight is the push-pull function of the volume control, which activates the coil split function and enables further sound characteristics. This option is particularly suitable when softer sounds are played and the full power of the humbucker is not required.
