About the Schaller Company
Founded in 1945 as a repair workshop for radios and radios, the initially small company around Helmut Schaller developed into a pioneering force in the development of guitar construction. In addition to his own early amplifier models, the traditional manufacturer soon specialized in electronic and mechanical instrument accessories such as pickups, bridges or mechanics. In the meantime, the popular M6 tuners, Schaller Security Locks or the Hannes bridge have become one of the most sought-after hardware components available, which many well-known manufacturers trust.
Schaller G-Series Keystone DR
The G-Series Keystone tuners from Schaller's Original Series are authentic replacements of classic Gibson tuners. Available as single or double ring and with optional top locking function, these mechanisms offer robust functionality and true to original design.
Features:
I'm happy with the tuners but there are two slight issues the obsessive-compulsive might want to be aware of:
The pictures lead you to believe that the tuner tips are cream, but they're most definitely green(ish). I've owned Schaller tuners before and those were cream, so they must have changed the plastic they use at some point.
I had to use the washers from my old tuners - the washers which come with these don't allow you to tighten the hex nut flush with the washer (at least not on my Les Paul).
