Two 5" LCD color screens provide a clear overview while offering precise display and control of menus and parameters. The console also includes specialized tools for targeted color grading, allowing fine adjustment of luminance and chrominance values. Three weighted, high-resolution trackballs ensure a comfortable and progressive workflow, while 12 precision-engineered controls and dedicated buttons allow switching between Log and Primary wheels and accessing Full Screen view.
The individual controls and how they work
The Y Lift, Y Gamma and Y Gain controls are used to adjust for luminance, while the Luminance control changes brightness without affecting color saturation. The Contrast sl ider varies the tonal differences between light and dark areas of the image. The Pivot slider lets you refine the adjusted contrast in the tonal center, and the "Midtone Detail" slider defines the perceived sharpness of the image. The "Color Boost" gives the colors a higher saturation, while the "Shadows" and "Highlights" sliders can be used to lighten or darken the drawing in the shadows. Furthermore,eight multifunction buttons and eight multifunction sliders can be freely assigned by the included DaVinci Resolve Studio software.
