Doepfer A-142-2 Dual Envelope Controlled VCA VCA Module

Doepfer A-142-2 is a dual envelope controlled VCA whose units are a combination of a simple AD/ADSR/AR envelope generator. The envelope type can be selected using a toggle switch. Each of the units has a potentiometer for setting the attack time and a potentiometer for setting the decay/release time. If the AD envelope is selected, the decay/release potentiometer controls the decay time; if the AR envelope is selected, it controls the release time. When the ADSR envelope is selected, this potentiometer controls decay and release simultaneously. The LED indicators show the curve of the respective envelope. Sustain is factory fixed at 50%.

In addition, the Doepfer A-142-2 has a mini knob for adjusting the audio level and the attenuator for CVT. The module has a gate input and a button with which the gate can be triggered manually. A CVT input, as well as a CV Duck input, via which the VCA can be muted with CVT, are also available. Of course, the A-142-2 also has an audio input and output.
