The Quantum LT 2 is a compact 2x2 USB-C audio interface. Fender relies here on proprietary low-latency drivers, which ensure the interface responds with extreme immediacy. When recording, everything feels instantaneous, whether it’s vocals, guitar or bass. It is precisely this immediate feedback that makes the difference between technology and music.
MAX HD Preamp with plenty of headroom
At the heart of the Quantum LT 2 is the MAX HD microphone preamp, offering a generous 75 dB of gain. This ensures that even quiet ribbon microphones can be brought up to a clean level without the need for additional boosters. The sound remains open and transparent, without harshness or artificial colouration. Condenser microphones also benefit from the stable 48-volt phantom power.
Instrument input with Fender DNA
The instrument input has been specially tuned by Fender for guitar and bass. Plug in, set the level, play. No impedance headaches, no readjustments. Especially for DI recordings, the Quantum LT 2 delivers a clear, defined signal with plenty of dynamics. Ideal for pedalboards, passive basses or connecting directly from the guitar to the interface.
Direct monitoring
The balanced line outputs provide sufficient level for active studio monitors, complemented by a powerful headphone output with a 6.35 mm jack. Latency-free direct monitoring can be conveniently controlled via the Fender Studio Pro or Universal Control software, even remotely from a computer or mobile device. Loopback audio is also on board for streaming or recording tutorials.
Flexible even without a computer
An exciting feature is the standalone mixer mode. The Quantum LT 2 can also be used entirely without a computer as an analogue mini-mixer, for example with an external USB-C power supply. Handy for rehearsal rooms, jam sessions or simple set-ups where speed is of the essence.
High resolution up to 192 kHz
With 24-bit resolution and sample rates up to 192 kHz, the Quantum LT 2 offers plenty of headroom for modern productions. The AD and DA converters deliver a clean, detailed signal with high dynamic range, whether for recording or monitoring.
