The BU16 Mechanical is a compact button module designed for creative performances, productions and professional workflows. With its robust design, precise controls and comprehensive configuration options, it offers a unique platform for musicians, producers and creatives of all disciplines.

Dynamic control with Gateron reverb effect buttons

At the heart of the BU16 is a 4x4 grid of MX Gateron Hall effect buttons. These high-quality buttons not only respond to simple touches, but are also velocity and pressure sensitive, allowing for particularly expressive and nuanced control. or when triggering samples, clip launching in Ableton Live or finger drumming - the modular pad responds with precision and dynamism.

RGB feedback and flexible customization

Each button is backlit with a bright RGB LED. The standard keycaps have cut-outs so that the LED indicators are always clearly visible - ideal for dark studios, stages or visual setups. The interchangeable keycaps allow you to customize the layout, feel or lettering to suit your personal workflow.

High-quality workmanship with innovative design

The new front panel made of textured fiberglass not only gives the module an elegant and robust finish, but also ensures a better grip in daily use. The injection-molded housing frame guarantees additional stability. Thanks to the innovative magnetic connection interface, the BU16 Mechanical can be seamlessly connected to other grid modules - in any direction.

Versatile configuration options

The buttons can be individually configured as momentary, two-step or three-step toggles. This opens up a wide range of possible applications - from creative performance tools to precise production aids. The integrated utility button also allows you to change pages or modes.

Grid Editor & LED animations

You can customize all LED settings using the Grid Editor: Brightness, color or animation can be assigned to each button. This simplifies the overview and improves usability - especially in complex live or studio environments.

Flexible as a MIDI controller or HID macro pad

The BU16 can be used both as a MIDI controller for DAWs, samplers and performance software and as an HID macro pad for creative applications outside of music - for example in video editing, VJ setups or digital image processing.
