The Ortega Private Room Striped Suite Acoustic Bass Lefthand is an impressive acoustic bass with high-quality wood selection and stage-ready full features. Accordingly, Ortega relies on a solid spruce top for the body in classic jumbo format, which together with laminated ebony back and sides delivers a lively sound with deep basses and brilliant punch. Thanks to a shorter 32" medium-scale scale (812 mm) and the Venetian cutaway, the acoustic bass can be played comfortably all the way up to the high frets of the Tecwood fingerboard. Moreover, the integrated Ortega MagusPro pickup system with 3-band tone control allows amplified bass playing on stage or pickup in the recording studio, impressing with a natural and dynamic reproduction of the sound character. Last but not least, the Ortega Private Room Striped Suite Acoustic Bass Lefthand is equipped with gold-plated die-cast tuners that guarantee precise and stable tuning.
