The Paiste Rude Basher Cymbal 18" is a crash cymbal, with a diameter of 18", construction from hand hammered CuSn20 bronze, a medium heavy gauge, and a natural finish. Originally conceptualized as a hacker for the metal and punk scenes of the late 80s, Rude cymbals from Paiste quickly became a favourite for trashy, strong sounds. These iconic Rude cymbals were the result of a collaboration with the drum legend Alex Gonzalez from Mexico's successful rock band Mana.
The Paiste Rude Basher Crash Ride Cymbal features a medium-heavy weight and medium-very loud volume. This cymbal produces a full, assertive sound with a ton of power and a pinch of Trash. A strong, loud attack with a fat crash sound, this crash ride cymbal has a low bell sound and is ideal for ride patterns in loud situations.
