IK Multimedia presents the iRig Pro Quattro I/O, a compact audio/MIDI interface for field recording and many other mobile applications. Conveniently, its ports make it compatible with most* iOS and Android devices, as well as PCs and MACs, so you can create your recordings anytime, anywhere!
The iRIG Pro Quattro I/O is hardly bigger than the palm of your hand, but scores with four high-quality and especially low-noise microphone preamps, instrument, RCA and TRS inputs as well as balanced XLR, 3.5mm stereo and headphone outputs. Even a MIDI I/O is on board, and to be equipped for every case!
Operation is via USB, batteries or an optional power supply, while connected devices can be charged.
A special feature is the application with security channels. Inputs 3 and 4 can be used as safety channels in stereo and mono mode, mirroring the signals from inputs 1 and 2. This means that despite unexpected volume jumps, you get a -12dB lowered but still clear "backup signal" that can then be added/edited in post-production.
The overall package is rounded off by a helpful scope of delivery. Here you'll find a mount, Lightning, USB-C and USB-A cable, which allows for smooth plug-and-play operation even in more stressful situations.
