The Mesa Boogie Mark V Valve Guitar Amp Combo is the culmination of 40 years’ experience making high-performance tube amplifiers. The Mark V has access to the sounds of many classic amplifiers, 9 in all, making it one of the most diverse amp combos available. This amp is hand-built with stunning looks and top-quality internal circuitry. This includes the Mesa Multi-Watt technology, which allows the wattage of each channel to be switched between three distinct power settings (90W, 45W and 10W). Each of these settings has its own routing path, so they are completely unique to each other in terms of tone. Obviously the greatest definition and headroom can be found in the 90W selection, but the lower wattages can excel at reaching gain saturation or being pushed into overdrive at super speeds.
A 5-band slider EQ section gives unprecedented choice and definition in arriving at your chosen tone. The EQ section can also switch between the slider configuration and a preset V-scoop option with depth knob, and is selectable per channel.
The Mark V has three channels, each of which can select between 3 sound modes:
Channel 1 switches between Clean, Fat and Tweed.
Channel 2 switches between Edge, Crunch and Mark I.
Channel 3 switches between Mark IIC+, Mark IV and Extreme.
