With the Mesa Boogie Rosette 300 / Two:Eight the Californian amplifier company presents the first acoustic guitar amplifier in its long history. Mesa Boogie lets the corks pop properly and provides the compact, 300 watt two-channel with an extensive equipment, which makes the use on stage or in the recording studio comfortable. This means that each channel not only offers extensive options for controlling the sound of guitar and microphone, but also first-class effects and three XLR direct outputs for the signal pickup.
The heart of the Mesa Boogie Rosette 300 is undoubtedly the two-channel preamplifier , which offers extensive possibilities for tone control and delivers a warm, natural sound. Each channel has its own 4-band tone control with semi-parametric mids and an adjustable Hi-Pass filter , which allows precise adjustment of the frequency response. Channel 1 can also be used for vocals thanks to the microphone input , whereby the always-on DIN P-12 Phantom Power also supplies power to condenser microphones. If feedback occurs, the phase switches in each channel also help.
In addition, the Mesa Boogie Rosette 300 is equipped with an integrated effects unit that offers three different sounds. In addition to the combination of chorus and reverb with room reverb and hall reverb , two differently sized reverberation rooms are available. Further effects can be connected to the Mesa Rosette via the effect path . The parallel design of the integrated effects and the loop allows precise adjustment of the effect components using the FX Send controls in each channel and the FX Master control.
The Mesa Boogie Rosette 300 / Two:Eight is equipped with a total of three balanced XLR direct outputs for particularly convenient signal pickup on stage or in the recording studio. Two of these lead out the signal of each channel individually , whereby individual pre/post and line-level switches allow precise tuning. The third output, on the other hand, outputs the sum of both channels after passing through equalization and effects. All three XLR connectors also have ground lift switches to interrupt unwanted ground loops.
To ensure that the first-class sound of the Mesa Boogie Rosette also comes into its own on stage, the compact combo is equipped with a 300 watt Class D amplifier , which promises high volume reserves and an enormous headroom with natural dynamics. Performance is provided by two Mesa Boogie Rosette loudspeakers with 8" diaphragm diameter , which, in conjunction with the Dome Tweeter , deliver a natural reproduction of guitar sound with strong bass, expressive mid-range and a silky brilliant treble spectrum. The character of the tweeter can be adjusted to the instrument and performance location via a three-level switch. The Mesa Boogie Rosette is also equipped with the innovative Twist-Lift Tilt Back System , which allows the sound to be positioned at an angle.
