This was bought to replace a Yamaha MG32/14FX, it is operated in a Church setting with a variety of skill levels/knowledge, age range from 16 - 72 years old. We needed something that was easy to 'convert' to from the Yamy, and was digital. We looked at the Behringer X32 (doesn't everybody?!) but people felt it looked complected, The SI Impact looked more user friendly, and with the 'fader-glow' gives people more confidence that they are in the correct 'section'. The SI Impact has proved popular with people, who were a bit worried before using it, becoming less worried and pleased at how easy it was to use etc. A Soundcraft F1 Folio we had, has lasted 20 years, the Yamaha started giving trouble after 9 years, hopefully this Soundcraft desk will last as long as the F1 Spirit. There are plenty of online tutorials for the SI Impact as well which have been useful.
