Player Series Alnico 5 Jazz Single Coils
The Player II Jazz Bass RW Rallye Orange is fitted with two Player Series Alnico 5 Jazz Single Coils in the middle and bridge positions, delivering a clear tone and a dynamic bass attack. Whilst the bridge pickup is characterised by a rich, voluminous sound, featuring plenty of low end and a dense tonal character, the middle pickup proves to be a dynamic single-coil, delivering a well-balanced mix of bass, mids and highs across the frequency spectrum. Thanks to its versatility, the Player II Jazz Bass can be used across all genres and proves its worth with clear tones when it comes to fast bass lines.
Classic Hardware
The Player II Jazz Bass features a 4-saddle standard bridge, which ensures the strings are held securely in place. Standard open-gear tuning machines are provided for precise tuning, keeping the bass in tune. Furthermore, the classic Fender headplate with the ‘F’ logo is located on the back of the instrument; this connects the four-screw neck to the body and serves as an attractive detail. The Player II Jazz Bass is also fitted with two separate volume controls for both pickups, as well as a master tone control.
