Vintage Reissued V52BS Butterscotchbought in 2018. a fine guitar with epic sound,, over all well finished. there are a few details to be sorted out but that's true of all guitars regardless of price. a quick and cheap bit of work by a luthier will turn this into an epic guitar. wilkinson pickups are the real star here! i'm an experienced player who has owned squires, fenders,kramers, taylors, yahamas over the years and countless others. I,ve been after a tele style guitar for some while but cant justify paying for a USA model so took a look at the videos and reviews of these ,More bang for buck than the Squires IMHO , solid and well built ,the nut is also correct width unlike the Squires which are very narrow .I also like the headstock .The Bridge pick up sounds Great ! Very tangy, the neck pick up however came set too low,so sounded a bit lacking , a simple matter of raising the pickup should sort that out , I have left it with a guy I go to for set ups as he will get it playing like butter, It should come back as a five star guitar once he has worked his magic , really looking forward to playing this one.Music store was one of the few stores that had it in stock and at a good price, it came four days later from Germany so can't complain.
