It doesn't matter whether the Lagoon's noise cancelling function remains activated or deactivated: It always sounds great.

The digital Active Noise Cancelling - ANC for short - with hybrid technology makes this possible with two adjustable intensity levels with which disturbing ambient noise can be easily switched off. And all this without having to forego an excellent sound experience.
The Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC Explorer has the best Bluetooth transmission thanks to current audio codecs such as Qualcomm aptX, aptX Low Latency and AAC. No matter if Android or iOS device, the quality of listening is always guaranteed. This applies to both enabled and disabled ANC as well as in cable mode.
The headphones also score with a battery life of up to 45 hours without ANC or 24.5 hours with ANC. Just as important: the speech intelligibility during phone calls. In headset mode, Qualcomm cVc ensures high quality calls, so you won't miss a thing when making business calls.
MOSAYC is a practical app for sound personalisation, developed by Mimi Defined. Every ear is different and changes over the course of life, which is compensated by the APP's ability to precisely adapt the sound of the headphones to your hearing.
The Light Guide System has been implemented to make it easier for you to use. The inside of the Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC Explorer headphones glows in different colours to provide information about battery status, Bluetooth connection or left/right detection. It is sufficient to take off the headphones for a short time and have a look at the colour of the light. While wearing them, the surroundings are of course not disturbed by a flashing or glowing status light.
The design is not only elegant but also practical. When you don't want to use the Lagoon Anc right now, the housing shells can be turned and folded flat for transport. In addition, high-quality materials are used to ensure a high level of wearing comfort even over longer periods of time. The ear-enclosing cushions made of memory foam with a protein synthetic leather cover nestle into the ear and are particularly supple and follow the anatomy of the ear. Together with the over-ear construction, noise is reduced even without active ANC. Furthermore, the spring steel temple sits comfortably and securely on the head.
Special attention is paid to the touchpad, which provides a variety of functions. With certain gestures (wiping, typing, etc.) you can accept calls and call assistants such as Siri or the Google Assistant in addition to standard functions such as play, pause, next track, previous track, etc.
