The INSPIRE + Pack combines the groundbreaking INSPIRE microphone with the revolutionary ORBIT shockmount kit. Both have been developed from scratch to make professional recording easier, more flexible and sonically outstanding. Made in Berlin, Germany - with patented technologies that are unique worldwide.
Two sound worlds in one microphone
The patented switchable output system makes the INSPIRE the first microphone that can switch between an electronic and a transformer-based signal path.
Transformer Stage provides warm, harmonically rich sounds - ideal for vocals, guitars or brass.
Electronic Stage delivers an extremely clean, fast response with precise transient reproduction - perfect for acoustics, Percussion or overheads.
So you get two microphones in one housing - and decide for yourself which sound suits your project.
Five polar patterns - electronically controllable
The INSPIRE offers five switchable polar patterns(omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid, wide cardioid, figure of eight). The illuminated pattern wheel allows you to change the polar patterndirectly on the microphone - with a visualindicator as soon as the polarisation is stable. This makes the microphone suitable for any recording environment - from vocals and instruments to room or stereo miking.
Illuminated, lockable controls
The INSPIRE's LED-illuminated switches are not only a visual highlight, but also functional: They enable precise control even in dark studio lighting conditions. Brightness and display can be dimmed or completely deactivated - ideal for video setups or live performances. In addition, all controls can be locked to prevent accidental changes.
Integrated peak meter and sound protection
The built-in peak level meter lights up when the input signal gets too hot. This allows you to detect clipping directly at the microphone and react optimally with the -10dB and -20 dB pads or the low-cut filters (80 Hz / 110 Hz). A feature that is unique in its class in this form - professional control directly at the source.
Bidirectional use and reversible orientation
Thanks to the balanced dual capsule, the microphone can be used on both sides. A switch allows the front and rear sides to be swapped electronically - ideal for self-recordings, interviews or variable setups. This means that the sound always remains identical - no matter which side you are recording from.
The ORBIT Shockmount - precision meets stability
The INSPIRE + Pack includes the patented ORBIT shockmount, which offers maximum damping with the simplest handling.
190° rotating mechanism for flexible alignment
Nylon lyres instead of rubber bands for long-lasting freedom from vibration
Open front design for optimum accessibility of the controls
Magnetic cable routing to minimize background noise
SENTRY magnetic pop filter - protection with style
The magnetic SENTRY pop filter snaps precisely into the holder and offers optimum protection against plosive sounds without dampening the treble. It can be used on both sides - ideal for the bidirectional setup of the INSPIRE. The special hexagonal hole structure guarantees perfect airflow and natural voice reproduction.
Handcrafted precision from Berlin
Each INSPIRE is manufactured in Berlin and undergoes strict quality controls. The 1" gold Mylar double capsule, four internal PCB boards and an internal headroom reserve of over 140 dBA set new standards in low noise and dynamics.
