The Fender Memorabilia Strat Set Masterbuilt C. W. Fleming is a homage to the founding years of the Californian electric guitar company, completely wrapped in a collage of excerpts from old Fender catalogues and brochures. This worldwide unique collector's item is not only a real visual delicacy, but the carefully assembled Masterbuilt Stratocaster from the hands of Chris Fleming and the handy Pro Junior all valve combo also convince in terms of sound. Based on the classic 1956 model, the Fender Memorabilia Strat has a two-piece ash body and bolt-on maple neck in a comfortable "10/56 V" profile, which along with the Fender Custom Shop '50s Strat single coils create the basis for authentic vintage sounds. Additionally, the sleek Fender Custom Pro Junior all valve amp features high quality clean and crunch sounds with vivid dynamics that guarantee an unaltered reproduction of player and instrument.
Custom Shop Masterbuilder Chris Fleming chose the coveted 1956 model with two-piece alder body and bolt-on one-piece maple neck as the basis for the Fender Memorabilia Strat. Carefully selected woods create the foundation for the masterpiece's lively sound with the typical bell-like Strat character, whereas the classic "10/56 V" neck profile and the authentic 7.25" fretboard radius convey the genuine vintage feel. The absolute highlight of the Fender Masterbuilt Memorabilia Strat is undoubtedly the elaborate finish, a collage of excerpts from Fender catalogues and brochures. Naturally the texture of the artwork, conceived as a tribute to the founding years of Fender, remains tangible through the thin nitrocellulose finish.
The Fender Memorabilia Strat uses three Fender Custom Shop '50s Strat single coils. As authentic replicas of the original Fender single coils with chamfered Alnico V pole pieces and Formvar wire, these pickups deliver authentic vintage sounds that reproduce every nuance in playing style with bell-like clarity and lively dynamic response. The pickups are controlled by the historically correct 3-way circuit with a global volume control and two tone controls for the neck and middle pickups.
Naturally the Fender Pro Junior guitar amplifier, which is part of the Fender Memorabilia Strat Set, adopts the elaborate collage finish of the electric guitar and correspondingly presents extracts from old patent applications, catalogues and brochures. With its straightforward tube circuitry, featuring two 12AX7 preamp tubes, two EL84 power tube, a volume and tone control and a 10" Fender custom speaker, this handy combo amp delivers dynamically responsive clean and drive sounds with distinctive expression.
