This is a serious amp that doesn't take itself too seriously
Excellent delivery time. The amp itself offers up two personalities to play with. Sometimes I challenge it with the foot-switch that is included to see how different I can set the tones. This makes playing old songs very interesting. I 100% recommend this amp.
I had to return this amp, which is a bit too big and has one input, so I called and requested a return. No one replied to my email for a few days, and after a few calls I was told that the email for export@musicstore.com actually was ".de". I don;t understamd when you have a musicstore.com domain name, you don't also use .com email for your export department. Then I was asked to wire EUR 35.00, but the email did not specify the return of the item, but some order number which I cannot relate to anything. The system in my profile also does not reflect my request for a return of an item. Today after 10 calls, most I had a busy signal, I was told that the export department will send me a shipping slip for the return. Thsi is by far the worst online purchasing experience I have had. I doubt I will buy from you again. You need to understand that you are not in the musical business, because many sellers sell exactly what you do. You are in the service business, and based on your service customers choose you or they don't. Even this review is useless, as there is so much information on the product already that I would hardly count on your site's review. I write this with good intention and hope you will alter your poor business model on the customer service side.
Fender's Blues Junior IV is much adored tube amp as it is, however, this Music Store edition makes it even better. The pairing of BJ IV circuitry with Eminence's RWB speaker is a pair made in tonal heaven and makes this little amp truly amazing. Combo delivers these magical Fender cleans we all crave, sparkling and glassy with full spectrum and dynamics, however when pushed, the RWB speaker starts to sing and giving its goods. This thing sounds excellent at wide range of volume levels, it's easy to dial in a great tone, basically it sounds good almost on all settings. Amazing little gem.
I might appreciate if the lacquered tweed covering was finished smoother a bit, but to be honest, who cares when it sounds so good!
