The Fender Pure Vintage Telecaster String Guide from Fender's Pure Vintage line-up follows the original design as it was used on the earliest Telecaster and Esquire models of the early fifties and can also be used for today's Telecasters without restriction. The string hold-down is screwed onto the headstock and increases the contact pressure of the strings on the nut, thus optimizing tuning stability and effectively eliminating any extraneous noise that may occur.
