Fulltone OCD V2: Overdrive classic with two gain modes

Even in the revised version, the Fulltone OCD V2 retains its inimitable dynamics and the overtone behaviour of a fully opened tube amplifier, which provides the basis for the sound of countless guitarists worldwide. With the familiar controls for volume, Drive and tone as well as the switchable gain setting, the sound can be perfectly tuned. Under the hood, two more innovative details on the input and output stages ensure even more top-class sound development.

Fulltone OCD V2 is an overdrive pedal with a dynamic response and strong overtones.

Fulltone OCD V2: Two details for first-class tone

The Class A input stage, which is centred around a 2N5457 JFET, promises lively dynamics that react excellently with single coils and humbuckers and do not distort the character of the instrument. The output of the Fulltone OCD V2 also features a buffer amp, which is always active in "Enhanced Bypass" mode or is activated with the effect in "True Bypass" mode. It prevents signal losses from occurring in the effects arranged after the Fulltone OCD in the case of long cable runs, while at the same time reducing the electrical load on the clipping stage and thus extending the Sustain of distortion.
