Ready-to-play cello made from solid tonewoods

The fact that the cello included in the Allegro set is an instrument to be taken very seriously is demonstrated by its selection of high-quality tonewoods. The body is made exclusively from solid European maple, whilst the top is crafted from solid European spruce and produces astonishingly resonant tones. Of course, mention must also be made of the original Aubert maple bridge from the French violin-making experts, which not only ensures optimal resonance transfer into the body but also enables ideal playability thanks to its pre-shaped design. Last but not least, the Allegro cello features a beginner-friendly Wittner fine-tuning tailpiece and AlphaYue synthetic strings from the Austrian string manufacturer Thomastik.

Massaranduba wood bow

In addition to the instrument, the Allegro cello set includes a bow to match. The cello bow included in the Allegro cello set is made from genuine Massaranduba wood and impresses with its comfortable weight and consistent tone. It features a high-quality natural hair covering, which, when drawn from the frog to the tip, enables an even tone. The frog of the bow is made from solid ebony and thus blends perfectly into the instrument’s sound. The result is a well-balanced bow that sits perfectly in the hand and offers excellent playing and tonal qualities, which make learning the basic bowing techniques on the instrument much easier.

Weatherproof case

In addition, the Allegro cello set comes with a matching cello bag with plenty of space for all the accessories needed for lessons. The bag is water-repellent and features 10 mm thick padding, ensuring that the instrument and bow are optimally protected whilst on the move. The cello bag also features an external compartment for the bow, as well as a string pouch for spare strings. This ensures the bag offers maximum functionality and the best possible protection on the way to lessons.
