With the Jam Pedals Eureka!, the Greek pedal manufacturer combines the singing character of classic germanium fuzz pedals with the powerful richness of a Muff-style fuzz-distortion pedal. Instead of germanium transistors, the pedal utilises a specially developed silicon circuit that combines high operational reliability with a responsive dynamic response. As a result, the Eureka! works seamlessly with a wide variety of electric guitars, amplifiers and effects pedals, without losing its distinctive tonal character. The three-position voicing switch allows the bass response to be precisely adjusted, meaning the pedal works superbly with both single-coil and humbucker pickups. In the appropriate switch position and at high input levels, the Eureka! also produces a distinctive gated fuzz effect.
