With the LD-Systems ICOA SUB 15 A, you get as much bass as you want to rock the crowd and fill the dance floor. Or even to give your presentation the necessary punch.

But the ICOA SUB doesn’t just deliver a rich, punchy bass; it also gives you greater volume headroom and a clearer sound. This is because the subwoofer takes the strain off the main speakers, whose woofers are now less severely displaced by high-energy bass pulses. This means lower intermodulation distortion: even at higher volumes, nothing gets muddy. Vocals and instruments remain crystal clear.

Thanks to its powerful Class D amplifier with 400 watts RMS and 1,600 watts peak power, you have plenty of power at your disposal. Using the presets on the integrated DynX DSP, you can tailor the ICOA SUB perfectly to your system, as it offers three selectable crossover frequencies: 80, 100 and 120 Hz. You can also switch the signal polarity and set a delay line for distances of up to 10 metres.

As your requirements grow and your venues get bigger, your setup can grow with you. It’s, of course, possible to run several ICOA SUBs in parallel, giving you even more power. When using two ICOA SUBs, you also have the option of Cardioid mode. Normally, a subwoofer radiates sound in all directions; however, if you point one of the two SUBs towards the rear and activate the cardioid preset, the bass is directed forwards in a controlled manner. This means well-defined bass impact without any rumbling from behind.

The robust 18mm plywood enclosures are stackable and feature an M20 thread on the top for mounting the main speakers via a spacer bar. For transport, you can fit castors to the rear; a corner foot protects the edge during set-up and dismantling. And to ensure the ICOA SUB doesn’t slip out of your hands during transport, the four aluminium handles are rubberised.
