With the Helix Expand D10, Line 6 is launching a powerful digital expansion unit that complements the Helix Stadium system with additional input and output options. Developed as a flexible I/O hub for professional setups, the compact module offers Variax Digital Interface (VDI), L6 LINK, AES/EBU and an 8-channel TOSLINK optical connection. For example, Variax modeling guitars can be connected directly via VDI or active Powercab 112+/212+ guitar speaker systems via L6 LINK. Furthermore, the Expand 10 enables the transmission of two channels of AES/EBU digital audio (44.1 / 48 kHz) and up to eight channels via TOSLINK, making it ideal for studio and live environments that require maximum flexibility and digital signal quality. It is easily connected via Cat6 cable via Nexus port to compatible Helix stage processors. Despite its compact design (40.6 x 138 x 99.7 mm at 0.51 kg), the Expand 10 expands any Helix system into a versatile digital centerpiece for modern guitar rigs.
