The Transmedia TI 48-5 L is a Cat 8.1 patch cable with a 5-meter length, packed with practical features and representing the latest generation of network cables. Its high performance makes it ideal for 25 GBASE-T, 40 GBASE-T, and 50 GBASE-T applications.

This twisted-pair cable has individually shielded pairs, providing optimal protection against external interference. The pure copper conductors ensure maximum signal transmission, while the halogen-free LSZH jacket emits minimal smoke and no halogens, even under extreme temperatures.

What can Cat 8.1 do?

Cat 8.1 cables are the cutting edge of network technology, offering 2 GHz bandwidth and data transfer rates up to 40 Gbps. They maintain excellent performance over distances up to 30 meters and, thanks to secure shielding, are virtually immune to interference. Cat 8.1 is also backward compatible with Cat 6A and all earlier standards via standard RJ45 connectors.
