The Meinl Switch Sticks 5A are professional hickory drumsticks with a dual-function design. The classic round tip on one end offers excellent articulation and a perfect feel when playing drums, whilst the medium-hard felt tip on the other end is well suited to playing cymbals. Weight and pitch are matched within each pair (Weight Matched & Pitch Matched). The pre-selected American hickory wood offers excellent weight distribution and long-lasting durability without splintering.

Since 1951, Meinl in Gutenstetten has been manufacturing high-quality cymbals, gongs and percussion instruments. Since 2018, Meinl has also been producing drumsticks, jazz brushes, rods and mallets for all applications – Made in Germany! The weight of the sticks is matched to within 1.5 grams per pair; furthermore, all Meinl sticks are pitch-matched, meaning that the natural sound of a pair of drumsticks is identical. In addition to many standard and hybrid sticks, numerous rods and mallets are also manufactured for all applications.
