Thanks to its solid tonewoods, the Ortega RUNAB-TE tenor ukulele delivers a powerful, warm sound that resonates richly even with light playing. This makes it well-suited for both fingerpicking and expressive strumming. The neck, paired with a generous cutaway, offers extremely comfortable playability up to the highest frets, making even complex fingerings and chords easy to master. The four nylon strings can be quickly and accurately tuned using the black, direct-ratio tuners, further supported by a built-in tuner integrated into the preamp of the in-house pickup system. For added convenience, the ukulele comes with a protective bag.
With its entire body crafted from solid bamboo, the tenor ukulele responds quickly and produces a clear, vibrant tone. The neck, also made from bamboo, ensures effortless fingering across all 18 frets.
To guarantee precise intonation along its 440 mm scale length, the saddle and the 37 mm-wide nut are perfectly matched. The headstock features black GraphTech Ratio tuners for highly accurate tuning. Visually, subtle black bindings on the body and neck create a striking contrast with the warm bamboo tonewoods. The soundhole is adorned with a laser-etched double-ring rosette, completing the instrument’s elegant look.
The Ortega MagusUke pickup system is built into the body, capturing the sound via a piezo element beneath the saddle and sending it directly to an amplifier. The preamp, located on the side of the instrument, allows individual adjustment of tone and volume. The system is powered by two button-cell batteries.
