The Rode VideoMic Pro is a dedicated on-camera condenser microphone presented in a compact format for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders. The Rycote Lyre Suspension Mount isolates the body of the microphone from the camera, thereby reducing vibrations and noise caused by movement and other factors. The VideoMic Pro+ is powered by a 9V battery, which will provide around 70 hours of use. The 3/8” industry-standard thread on the mount affixes the VideoMic Pro to a boom stand as needed.
