Sound Devices 702 2-Channel Flash Card Recorder

The two-channel 702 is a powerful file-based digital audio recorder. The compact device records and plays back audio to cost-effective, removable Compact Flash cards and/or external FireWire drives, making field recording simple and fast. It writes and reads uncompressed PCM audio at 16 or 24 bits with sampling rates between 32 kHz and 192 kHz. Compressed (MP3) audio playback is also supported.  

The 702 includes essential features required for high-resolution portable audio capture in a durably-constructed compact-chassis. Sharing a common menu architecture with the 7-Series family of recorders, the 702 is intuitive to operate. Powering by external 10-18 VDC or Sony-compatible camcorder battery allows flexibility for use in portable and studio applications alike.
