Steinberg WaveLab Elements 13 EDU

The easy introduction to mastering, editing and podcasting

WaveLab Elements 13 is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to finish their productions quickly, cleanly and professionally. As a compact addition to any DAW, this version is aimed at aspiring musicians, producers, content creators and podcasters who want to achieve convincing results without complicated technology.

The focus is on clear operation, fast workflows and high-quality sound. Ideal for anyone who wants to refine their mixes, optimize speech or produce content for streaming and social media.

Quickly to the finished master

WaveLab Elements makes mastering easily accessible. Automatic crossfades, intuitive editing tools and a clear channel strip ensure that music and speech can be arranged, edited and mixed effortlessly. Changes are immediately audible, everything happens in real time.

Beginners in particular benefit from the fact that professional results can be achieved without having to delve deep into audio technology.

Effects that really help

Practical modules such as EQ, compressor and voice exciter are available for sound editing. WaveLab Elements also contains over 20 VST plug-ins for mastering. At its heart is the MasterRig Suite, taken over from WaveLab Pro.

In the Elements version, MasterRig offers five powerful modules

  • Limiter for clean loudness
  • EQ for precise sound shaping
  • Compressor for more punch
  • Saturator for warmth and presence
  • Imager for stereo width

These tools make it easy to audibly enhance mixes and give them the finishing touches.

Precise metering and flexible exports

Professional metering tools such as Spectroscope, Level Meter and Oscilloscope help you to keep an eye on frequencies and levels at all times. Finished projects can be exported in over 15 audio formats, including WAV and MP3. Perfect for streaming platforms, social media or direct upload.

Sample-accurate editing without detours

The integrated audio editor allows extremely precise editing. Thanks to high-resolution zoom, you can work right down to sample level. Time stretching, pitch shifting, phase inversion and magnetic grid functions make cutting, adjusting and combining audio files quick and clean.

Clean up and tidy up audio

The RestoreRig Suite effectively removes annoying background noises such as humming, crackling or wind. The global analysis helps to automatically detect and correct peaks. Ideal for voice recordings, demos or live recordings.

Produce podcasts and content professionally

WaveLab Elements contains the complete range of functions of WaveLab Cast. Speech, music and effects can be quickly combined into podcastepisodes. The ducking feature automatically lowers background music as soon as speech is heard.

Finished podcasts can be uploaded directly to platforms such as Spreaker, Podbean or SoundCloud. RSS feeds can also be created and published.
