For a powerful sound image, the Taylor 614ce Next Generation features the in-house Scalloped V-Class Bracing, a revised bracing that gives the top a two-dimensional vibration behavior. In combination with the solid tonewoods, this results in improved vibration behavior, which significantly increases the sound volume. Meanwhile, the solid top made of torrefied Sitka spruce and the back and sides made of solid maple produce a wonderful sound character. This exquisite tonewood combination shines with radiant overtones and exceptionally long sustain.

Maple neck with ebony fingerboard

A comfortable playing feel is guaranteed by the robust maple neck with a smooth ebony fingerboard, which facilitates a fluid glide over the entire surface. With a nut width of 44.45 mm, the guitar perfectly meets the criteria required for virtuoso flatpicking and powerful strumming, making the instrument a true all-rounder for numerous playing techniques. The Claria pickup system from Taylor is a contemporary in-house development from the manufacturer and provides high-quality piezo amplification in combination with an easy-to-understand preamplifier. This allows important sound parameters to be set quickly and precisely. The controls are discreetly positioned in the sound hole area, making them easily accessible at all times without detracting from the stylish appearance of the guitar. In this way, the appearance remains elegant and uncluttered, while the amplified sound can be conveniently controlled.

Antique Blond Finish
