The ChamSys GeNetix GS 8 is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE (Power over Ethernet) network switch with eight ports. The device delivers a total power of up to 200 watts across its eight ports, providing a flexible and powerful solution for various network requirements. Ports 1-4 support the IEEE 802.3bt standard with up to 100W per port, while all ports support the 802.3af and 802.3at standards in A & B modes. This versatility in power supply makes the GS8 particularly useful for applications that have varying PoE requirements.

The GS8 is characterized by its robust design and installation flexibility. It is suitable for both desktop mounting and 19" rack mounting (1U) and has an M12 threaded insert for clamp mounting, which facilitates integration into various setups. The switch also offers lockable Ethernet ports for secure connections. The compact dimensions and low weight make the GS8 easy to transport and simple to integrate into existing setups.
