The Dreadbox Eudemonia is an analog Dual-Filter with built-in mixer and VCA, and is part of the Chromatic Modules Series. 3x audio signals can be fed to the module simultaneously at different levels. The serially connected Dual-Filter has a resonant 24dB Low-Pass filter and a resonance-free 18dB High-Pass filter. The last link in the signal path is the VCA, which can be controlled by an external control voltage in addition to the level control.
I recently got my first small modular system and bought the Eudemonia as part of it. I’m a big fan of dreadbox products and the filter is easy to use, sounds amazing and it also comes with a VCA and mixer. Can’t fault it at all.
The product is great, love the layout and filter is really nice, pretty standard filter but resonance is nice. VCA output is rather noisy, don't know if its just mine or they all come like this so might be a slightly faulty unit. Only other qualm is the resonance seems slightly unstable at times other than that its great, also at the price you can't beat it really.
This is a fabulous module that offers so much functionality in a small space. A great addition to a simple system (I bought mine to go with the Nifty Bundle
