With the EPIPHONE SG-Junior Player Pack Worn Black, Epiphone provides electric guitar beginners with a complete set for their first experiences with their new instrument. The set contains a genuine Epiphone SG-Junior electric guitar with patented dimensions that quickly gives you a classic rock feeling in terms of sound and playability. A 10-watt Epiphone Electar 10 Combo Amplifier is available to amplify the SG-Junior and, thanks to its switchable drive channel, produces characteristic distortion sounds in the style of well-known tube amps. The Player Pack also includes a comprehensive accessory package with gig bag, tuner, cable, strap and picks.
The Epiphone SG-Junior is based on the famous Gibson guitar classic and consists of an Alder body with bolt-on Maple neck. A slim neck profile, wide cutaways and a well-aligned composite fretboard make it especially easy for beginners to master the first fingerings and scales safely and to reach the high positions of the fretboard effortlessly. The pickup is an Epiphone Alnico Humbucker, which with its two-coil construction delivers a powerful sound and is ideal for blues, rock and even metal. Last but not least the Epiphone SG-Junior has solid attachments in chrome finish and a smooth Worn Black finish on neck and body.
The Epiphone SG-Junior Player Pack comes with an Epiphone Electar 10 amplifier to electrically amplify the SG-Junior. Its 10-watt output provides more than enough power reserves for the first practice sessions and lessons, while its two channels elicit a variety of sounds from the compact combo amplifier. The clean channel always stays clean and is perfect for softer sounds or as a platform for first effects pedals. In the drive channel, however, the Electar 10 unfolds its potential of tugging guitar sounds for blues and rock. In addition to a 2-band tone control for treble and bass, the Electar 10 offers an aux input for recording backing tracks and a headphone jack that mutes the internal speaker and allows for quiet headphone sessions.
Besides the electric guitar and the amplifier, the set offers everything you need to get started right away. For the SG-Junior, Epiphone first of all provides a matching gig bag with a large accessory compartment, with which the instrument can be transported safely and weather-protected to lessons or rehearsals. Additionally, the set includes an instrument cable for connection to the amplifier, an Epiphone strap for safe playing while standing, picks and an electric tuner, which makes tuning the guitar very easy.
