The Fame Reflex Crash-Ride 18" is a robust drum cymbal made from a specially developed brass alloy. The Reflex series impresses with excellent durability at an affordable price. Fame’s entry-level cymbals are robust and deliver excellent sound. The sound is rich in overtones and assertive; furthermore, the tonal character of the Fame Reflex cymbals is not flat, as is often the case with comparable models in this price range, but rather multi-layered and rich in frequency.
The Fame cymbal has a low-frequency tone with a pronounced ‘ping’. It also produces a trashy attack and has a short sustain. Furthermore, it offers a responsive feel with a wide dynamic range – hence the name ‘Reflex’. The Silver Brilliant finish is modern and timeless. The Fame Reflex series offers a usable sound, high durability and a comfortable playing feel at an absolute beginner’s price.
Fame Reflex Crash/Ride 18" (Silver)Use 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and this 18" crash-ride from Fame (all low-price) for practise kit, and if you practise with earphones, they sound pretty good: crash lasts long, crash-ride rides nice,- but natral sound is too high, so without earphones they sound not really good.
But for these money it's the best pack of cymbals for the practise kit, which you won't spare.
