The IK Multimedia iRig BlueBoard is a wireless, Bluetooth MIDI pedalboard ideal for use with Mac and iOS devices.
The IK Multimedia iRig BlueBoard is a dedicated footswitch ideal for wirelessly controlling MIDI from a computer or iOS device, and can be used with any app that supports MIDI. The iRig BlueBoard is well-built and features four backlit footswitches as well as connections for two expression pedals.
The IK iRig BlueBoard will appeal to guitarists looking for a way of controlling guitar amp simulation apps on an iPad or Mac, and is compatible with JamUp Pro XT, GarageBand and IK’s own AmpliTube app. The BlueBoard can also be used to control virtually any other MIDI-supported, music-based apps, such as IK’s VocaLive, SampleTank and iGrand Piano.
Powered by four AAA batteries, the BlueBoard is small and light enough to fit into a laptop bag or rucksack. The BlueBoard is synced to an iOS device using the free iRig BlueBoard app, which converts footswitch presses into MIDI control changes and, while running in the background, feeds them through to your desired music app.
