The K&M 17670 Memphis Pro Guitar Stand is a guitar stand, featuring a telescopic neck, rubber padding, a 550-1000mm adjustable height, and comes in black. This is a folding stand for all guitars. The 17670 features a patented flexible hooking-in and clamping system which quickly and firmly grasps the guitar neck. Fits most instrument necks and comes with studs at the support arms provide extra protection. This stand also comes with height adjustment with convenient locking levers. Anti-twist feature on the extension rod for extra safety. High quality non-marring rubber on the stand's neck grip and base helps to protect the instrument. This stand is finished with a stable robust base.

Altough it provides good conditions for a proper instrument, I find it a little to tipsy for my tastes. I want to be able to rest my guitar on the stand without having to look at it for 2 or 3 seconds to check if its well seated or wont fall down.
Other than that, good looking stand with an interesting and functional "head-locking" mechanism.
Like any K&M gear this simply does what it says on the box. In this case it does it really well. Solid construction, folds up very small and has the advantage over similar designs of having each arm independant which works well with electrics. Will buy another when needed.

Unlike some other types where a spring hand-clamp holds the instrument at height , this has cam-clamps to hold. There is no plastic to degrade, disintegrate and drop your guitar to the floor!
