AMPTWEAKER Bass TightFuzz
Versatile bass fuzz with germanium and silicon transistors
The Amptweaker Bass TightFuzz is handcrafted in Georgia and turns out to be a supplier of juicy bass fuzz sounds of the highest quality. The effect pedal not only offers the choice between silicon and germanium transistors for sound generation, but also offers the fundamental sound character of the"60s - 70s" and"Edge" switches. In addition to the classic volume, tone and fuzz controls, potentiometers are available for "Dry Low" and "Tight", which can be used to determine the bass reproduction and response of the pedal. Another special feature is the integrated effects path, which is equipped with a pre/post switch. Last but not least, the separate on/off switch for the battery and illuminated potentiometer caps prove to be useful detail solutions.
Amptweaker Bass TightFuzz with extensive sound options
At the heart of the Amptweaker Bass TightFuzz are silicon and germanium transistors, which can be switched between with the corresponding switch. While the former offer higher gain reserves and a brighter sound, the latter stand for a warm vintage fuzz sound. The "60s - 70s" switch also offers a choice between a rather bright or a "full range" fuzz. The combination of "Tight" control and "Edge" switch can also be used to adjust the response and hardness of the sound. Last but not least, the "Dry Low" control can be used to display the bass range of the clean signal so that the important bass pressure is maintained.
