The T-Bone from Boz Digital Labs is a slant-EQ with some additional extras. Slant equalizers raise the high or low frequency spectrum as needed while lowering the counterpart. In this way, dark sounding or wide, open mixtures can be achieved in no time at all. Especially with this EQ, however, the entire sound doesn't get louder when you want to emphasize frequencies. The human brain generally thinks that louder signals sound better, even if this is not always the case. At constant volume, the user of a T-Bone EQ can mix more selectively without being "tricked".
While using the Slant EQ can be very practical, further features such as High/Low-Pass filters, which are equipped with a resonance control, have been integrated. Extreme effects similar to the barking of a dog or the mewing of a cat are thus possible. In addition, Harsh and Boom Control are available to counteract the occasional side effects of slant Eqs. Extreme settings of the slants can, for example, provide too much pressure in the bass range, which is why the Boom Control ensures a more homogeneous sound image. In return, Harsh Control "defuses" the high frequency spectrum. For those who want to work even more specifically, the T-Bone offers a mid/site mode as well as the analog mode, which works with slight distortion and compression.
Last but not least, the extremely clean work of the filters, which despite their performance do not represent a serious CPU load.
