The Pearl Drumrack DR-513C is a stable 3-sided U-Drumrack from Pearl's ICON-Series (Independent CONtrol) with robust square tubes as rack bars, here in the curved version. Its sliding and rotating rack feet can now be adjusted independently of the 1.5" thick rack legs, allowing even more freedom and flexibility when setting up your own drum setup. With four rack clamps and two pipe clamps there is a choice of mounting options that is more than sufficient for most drums and even leaves room for a few extras.
The unique selling point of Pearl rack systems is definitely the rack bars. Instead of a round tube profile, stable square tubes are used here. With a square profile of 40mm edge length, these tubes are not only wider than most round rack bars and offer the rack clamps more grip, the square shape effectively prevents them from slipping. In contrast to the straight rack rods, the curved versions are slightly longer (112cm instead of 91cm) and thus offer considerably more space between the rack legs. Ideal for extended setups. The rack legs on the other hand come as classic round rack poles with 1.5" diameter and 86.5cm length. Stepless height adjustability and free angling of the side bars make the Pearl DR-513C as flexible as it is robust in construction.
The new generation of ICON racks not only includes various separately available accessories for Pearl racks, but also the pre-configured rack sets have been revised. By connecting the rack leg and foot by means of a T-clamp, the feet can now not only be rotated to allow better positioning, the round tube profile now also ensures that clamps and brackets can be attached directly to the feet. Even inclined or angled rack constructions are no longer a problem.
