Synthesis Technology E560 Deflector Shield

The E560 Deflector Shield from Synthesis Technology is an effect module that provides either Frequency Shifter Ringmodulator or Phaser.
In shift mode, the module generates pitch shifts in the range +/- 30,000 Hz, taking into account eight infinitely variable carrier waveforms. In this case it Ringmodulator is a four-quadrant Ringmodulator input that uses the eight carrier waveforms mentioned above instead of a second audio input. The Phase mode includes an 8-stage phaser with 0-360° shifting, the feedback is generous and the carrier waveforms show plenty of variations of the effect.

Each of the four parameters has its own CV input; the UP & Down outputs behave differently depending on the selected effect; but together they produce an interesting stereo image!
