AKG Lyra
is a convenient USB microphone for podcasting - whether you want to make excellent voice recordings in seconds or record your instrument. With 192 kHz / 24-bit resolution, you get professional, studio-quality results. The AKG Lyra's special feature, however, is its sophisticated 4-microphone capsule array that allows you to switch between different characteristics. This allows you not only to influence the sound, but also to talk to the microphone from the front and the back at the same time and, for example, record vocals and guitar simultaneously.
The AKG Lyra also features a headphone output on the bottom of the unit, allowing for latency-free monitoring of the input signal. The USB microphone can even be used as a high-quality USB sound card with a stereo headphone jack for playback of audio files. A mix control allows the user to switch smoothly between microphone monitoring and playback from the computer.
Not to forget the special design with the sturdy, solid metal stand, which not only allows for safe positioning and ideal alignment of the AKG Lyra, but also helps to suppress noise such as impact sound, which could be transmitted over the table top, for example.
The AKG Lyra can also be set up on a computer or smartphone within seconds without the need for driver installation. This allows you to stay flexible when recording and streaming and to benefit from excellent recordings no matter where you are.
To get you started right away, the popular Ableton Live 10 Lite recording software is included.
